Qualified applicants are being sought for a supervisor of accounting in Louisa County Public Schools.  Louisa County Public Schools serves approximately 4900 students.  Louisa County is located 45 miles northwest of Richmond, 35 miles east of Charlottesville and 40 miles west of Fredericksburg.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:  To assist in administering the business affairs of the division in such a way as to provide the best educational services with the financial resources available.

QUALIFICATIONS:                                   

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required/CPA preferred

• Minimum of 5 years successful related experience, including three years in a supervisory or management position preferred. Local government or school division experience preferred.

• Exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal relations skills required.       

• Knowledge of all legal, federal and state polices and procedures preferred.

LENGTH OF CONTRACT:                        Twelve months in accordance with the adopted School Board calendar.

ANNUAL SALARY:                                  Commensurate with Experience
